Wordpress is very powerful but easy to use at the same time, Google also loves wordpress sites because it provides a very nice site structure automatically.

If you want to get started quickly, there is a free site account on wordpress.com - if you want to host your own domain most web companies have accounts where you can install wordpress with one click.

There is also a lot of free themes for wordpress so you don't have to design the site from scratch.

Go to wordpress, sign up for an account and see for yourself why it is such a great blogging and website creation platform.

About Wordpress, i went to see the website Wordpress.com but i thought it doesn't allow a business type website because it's free. Does Wordpress.org allows a bsiness-type of web blog if you host your own domain? Does it means that you will have to buy your own domain name and choose your own webhost?

Wordpress.com doesn't accept custom plugins or editing the themes which is why it isn't flexible as installing wordpress.org on your own host.

You can do a business website on wordpress.com - it just won't look as professional as having your own domain name.

There are hosts out there that make it easy to host your own wordpress.com site but any cpanel host should have fantastico which is a really easy way of installing it without using ftp.

I would go and do both - set up a wordpress.com blog as you will need a wordpress.com account to get an akismet api key (used to stop comment spam!) and see what its like. Then get your own hosting and domain name, and try it out there as well.

Thanks for the reply. I got a free blogger website that is still in the making but i should try wordpress later on, It's seems everyone likes wordpress.

Word press is the most easy to use and handle blog site...most widely used all over... and you can download new themes of Wordpress for free.....highly recommended

Which one is much better, a blogger free website or wordpress free website. Does any of you know if we can actually earn income from both of this free websites? ( with adsense amazon etc?)

I think Wordpress is one of the best places to start a blog. I use it for my blog and I really like it. There are also a lot of addons that you can use depending on what you want.

One thing I will suggest is if you use Wordpress or any blog site is that you get your own domain name. Makes your blog much more personal and will brand you.

Wordpress is one of the best if you are really eager to start blogging. Based on Alexa Site Ranking, globally Wordpress is on ranked 19 and Blogger is in ranked 8. Both are very useful and easy to navigate. And I am pretty sure, you can't be wrong when you start blogging with these two sites.
