tags

How do you add tags to a blog? I'm new to this and have heard about needing to do this to help get traffic to my blog. But I have no idea how to do this. Please help.

It will depend on wich software your using i may be able to help if you can tell me what your using.

In wordpress it's fairly simple.

When you are in the screen writing your post, scroll down a bit below the edit/text box and you'll see a section that says "Tags" in the text area below that you just type in the tags you want.

If your post is about the economy for instance you might tag it with words such as "money, economy, stock market, recession, housing crunch" or any number of words related to the topic of your post.

Once you've added the tags you want, just click the "add" button and then save or publish ( or both )

In blogspot at the the bottom of your posting box you should see something that says "labels for this post" enter your desired tags in the text area next to that

Thanks CBQ Lou, I didn't know htat Label thing was for the Tags, so I left i blank. I wonder if there is still a chance for me to update and fill in the Label box?
