Getting a good traffic for a web page is really essential for the effective and proper functioning of a blog....what is the opinion of you guys that how many times a blog should be pinged to get traffic on it.....on monthly basis or weakly basis???....waiting for your precious opinions and suggestions
Use MaxBlogPress ping optimizer to make sure you don't ping too much (as you can get banned from pinging sites)
When you edit content, it will ping the sites again - this is the only time you should re-ping your blog.
Instead of focussing on pinging i would focus on getting backlinks to each of the pages in your blog, pinging is a very small part of the overall picture - rewrite your blog posts and create articles or link from other blogs you own with a short summary of why you should go visit this page.
