A part from blogging did you know there is also Vblogging otherwise knowm as Video blogging. Yes some of you might know about Vblogging but there are definitely individuals out there who have never heard of this term.
Which one has a greater capacity of reaching out to customers? I mean there are quite a few people who detest reading. So this is how I think Vblogging comes into play as they rather listen to what a person has to say than read.
if you should watch Youtube and watch videos of young women demonstrating how to apply makeup you will realize that majority of them tells you what products they are using and why. Now if the young lady watching the video likes the products more than likely she will go and purchase the product or other products within that product line.
This is just an example I am giving you of what Vblogging is capable of and how effectively it can reach out to prospects.
I think it is the future, i have just set up my lighting setup and backdrop so you will see videos very soon on marketingforums from me.
I think it is good to see a real person as it builds a lot more trust - when we all write here on the forum you don't really know the person who is posting, it takes a lot of time to build that trust.
With video - its 5 seconds if they like you or don't like you - liking is a big factor to sales.
Thats true Dave. I should also add that what is most important is that you see the product and know whether that product is good or bad based on the review from the person in the video. Seeing the persons facial expression also will let one know if they are telling a big lie.
I have been following some Videoblogs, and some I found really effective.
I have noticed that if the Vblog is used for demonstration or for documentation ( to visually see everyday progress) then it is a powerful add on, or a tool than a usual blog.
I followed a person's blog to see how effective her strategy is for weight loss is, and I think its more relevant and effective to see how much she lost and how she looks now..rather than just reading a progress report in her blog.
I agree with you CandyRob and Dave. The people in the forums who are posting there products is we can’t tell who really they are, if they are telling the truth or not. We should be careful trusting people for now a days.
Speaking of picture on the profile, sometimes there are reasons why people don't want picture on profile because of some reasonable reasons that has nothing to do with people now but with people from their the past. For me I would love to show my picture but then I prefer not to
