Just to note that links from within textual content always ranks better than stand-alone links (such as a list of links on a page on a links page or a directory listing)

I have submitted site maps for my site and one of my keywords is "how-2" which is why I am wondering why the keyword "how-2" isn't finding my site. Thanks

There is Major competition for that keyword, you will have to have a lot of links to get on even the top 100:

I have read a couple of different articles about how fast Feedage.com pages get indexed by Google. I thought it would be interesting to analyze some data.

To know when Google has Indexed a page, I use Google Alerts. I find this very handy for getting notified when Google adds Feedage.com related pages to it’s index. I receive a Google alerts e-mail every day. I used the time-stamp from the e-mail as the time when Google indexed the page.

When pages are added to Feedage.com they are marked with a time-stamp (Date Added). This will be used for the time-stamp for when the feed was added to Feedage.com.

I chose the following 5 Examples. You will note that 4 of these the time from when the RSS Feed was submitted to Feedage.com till when Google indexed the page was less 12 hours. The fifth example took around 9 months. I can’t say that I understand why this last example took so long. Looking quickly through my past Google Alerts, I did not see any other example that took more then a couple of days.

Google indexes pages that link only to the normal forward, and will not go away unless you have links to these pages or have a high PageRank, then send me your website address and I can throw one eye. Google will index your site? My site is indexed by other sources such as Hub Pages Squidoo and Twitter. Reading from Google to reindex my site is finished, but my site does not appear on one page when the site: mysite domain or domain name used in the search box.

And just on the top forward you a link to this page, or if you have a high PageRank, then it will be from me by sending your website address and you can take a look at the Google index page takes. Google your site? My site is the center of a page on Squidoo, and Twitter and other sources are indexed. To re-read my site from Google, but my site is completed on the page will be displayed on a page site: mysite domain or domain name used in the search box.

Google only caches and indexes the websites that are frequently updated with fresh content. So, keep updating your website and you will be cached and indexed asap.

Is this true? From my experience, a sites depth and number of pages indexed depends on the cumulative pagerank of the incoming links.

Also, only the frequency of googlebot indexing your site will increase depending on how frequently you update it.
