Partnership kind of business since I am not that more knowledgeable on some parts on business.

First of all, you are not including all the possible choices. What about Limited Liability Company (LLC) and Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), to name only two.

In the US alone, there are at least 10 different and distinct business entities. Other countries have thier own types and differences.
