How to install skins/templates?

Well I am new to vBulletin, been using phpbb but i am fed up with it and want to switch to vBulletin. I am no noob, and i have had the hardest time trying to install these themes. I can get them uploaded but i am having no luck what so ever getting the images to show up. The one i am mainly looking to install is the PB-WoW skin. I looked around on various forums and saw everything from making a styles folder to just dropping the theme in the /images forum. I know i am missing something easy that is probably right in front of my face...

So i was wondering how to exactly install one of these themes. What i need to know is, where to extract the files - what files need to be where. If i have to change anything in the config files ( like stylesvars or anything like that ) etc etc.

Did you upload the image folder that came with the theme inside your forum images folder ? Many of the themes call for it to be uploaded that way.

If the folder in the theme is called wow you'd want to upload it so it ends up like forums/images/wow

PHPBB isn't all that bad. Wait til you get into IPB and try to upload a skin, it's horrendous! Yeah, make sure your folder system is setup correctly. That probably is your problem.

Well thanks for your help guys. Actually I had placed the skins/templates in the wrong folders, now it's working fine.
