Buying loops are when people are
just in that
buying mood - have you ever been in that state for instance, lately i've been buying
every good copywriting book i can get my hands on, even though i have loads of them already.
This is an example of a
buying loop, something that gets
activated when a purchase gets made. Whether the person making the purchase
continues buying is down to the individual, but
straight after that initial purchase people are more likely to make another purchase so
why not get them to do just that!
One-time offers or upgrades are great ways of selling more in one transaction with you, but even more powerful is multiple one-time offers, keep on making better and better deals every time they decline your offer.
The butterfly marketing source code has just been released for free, and has features such as one-time offers.
Other things to consider:
- Retriggering - Keeping that buying loop going by providing content that excites your prospects.
- One-Click Buying - Membership sites where you store their credit card details - then - to make further purchases they just click a link - make it easy as possible.
- Targetting Buying-Loop Keywords - keywords with buy then a product name are great, you get the customer just as they are looking to buy something, then you can sell them something else as well via a list or just after the purchase.
So in conclusion, buying loops are something you must not forget when marketing - every small change that you make adds to your bottom line so instead of trying to get more traffic, just sell more at the point of purchase and keep it going.
