Yeah, you could get sued..
There is a fine line, i think that republishing rss feeds is ok in some circumstances (i'm not a lawyer, so don't quote me on that) but taking someone else's website (or page) and copying it verbatim is not good without permission.
If you want content for free, then go to an article directory and get reprintable articles and put them on your website - as long as you include the resource box of the writer it is ok.
Thats the safest way of getting content without writing it yourself.
